With the deployment of Cardano's ecology, especially the DeFi-type applications that have been launched since this year, Cardano's ecology has continued to drive its ecological development. The total locked position of Cardano's ecology currently reaching $120M, of which the largest Dex is Sundaeswap, accounting for 98% of the total locked position. The following one is MuesliSwap with a locked position of over $2M. In addition to the DeFi ecology, Cardano has also been building up its Metaverse ecology, such as the Sand River Plot-type game project BDL. Additionally the ecosystem is actively laying out physical applications, which may have an irreplaceable ecological moat in the future.

There are two outstanding features in current marketing: The first one is NFT marketing towards weak with both trading volumes and browser searches. It reflects the marketing returns to calm before the innovation in NFT. The second one is crypto community, led by Vtalik, joining in support of Ukraine as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict begins, reflecting an aspect of the crypto market seeking social influence.
Regulations
The US Justice Department charges the founder of crypto firm BitConnect with creating a $2 billion Ponzi scheme.
European Central Bank President calls for approval of regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies to avoid Russia evading sanctions.
The European Commission releases proposals related to a new data bill that seeks to strengthen controls on smart contracts.

The termination switch in the new EU draft means that a single source is able to make changes to the code, which in essence threatens the promise of immutability of smart contracts.

The Blockchain investing and financing deals over this week reached 30 in total, or 1,218 million USD in valuation. Since Luna secured a US$1 billion funding round, the total funding amount was high. If we remove Luna, the total amount will be slightly down from last week.
There was one funding over $100 million: Luna closes $1 billion funding round led by Jump Crypto and Three Arrows Capital.
In terms of tracks, the investment and funding were mainly focused on Infrastructure and Gaming.
