A lot of people participating in the Ukrainian fundraiser was there to get the airdrop, then denounced the Ukrainian government after cancellation. The fundraiser showed the ease of blockchain but exposed the shortcomings of the lack of regulation.
Regulations
The U.S. Treasury Department issued updated guidance on Russia sanctions, which added provisions prohibiting any support to certain Russian oligarchs and entities from accounts in the United States.
The U.S. SEC will focus its investigation on fragmented NFTs and has issued subpoenas to certain trading platforms.
Bitcoin, USDT and LVGA, the Swiss franc stablecoin, will become legal tender in Lugano.

Despite the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies, the sanctions were not spared. Cryptocurrencies are decentralized, howver many operating entities are centralized entities and are regulated by the United States. The industry needs to consider a large number of projects located in the U.S. are too centralized and how it can circumvent the impact of U.S. sanctions.

HTX Research Institute Analysis：
The largest funding round this week was in the DeFi area, where Lido, a liquidity pledge agreement, received a $70 million investment from a16z.
In terms of tracks, the highest number of funding was in GamFi with 11 projects, followed by the Web3. In terms of funding amount, maily focused on DeFi, CeFi, Web3 and infrastructure tracks.
