To recognize and reward outstanding market makers, HTX will be launching a“400,000 USDT Giveaway for Spot and Derivative Market Makers”event in February. The specific rules appear below:

Event Period: 16:00 (UTC) on Jan 31, 2022 – 16:00 (UTC) on Feb 28, 2022

Target Users: All spot and derivative market makers of HTX

Rules:

1.      This event will set up two bonus pools for spot market makers and derivative market makers, with each group entitled to a bonus of 200,000 USDT. A total of 400,000 USDT will be distributed.

2.      There will be a total of four rounds for the event (one per week) starting February 1, with an initial 50,000 USDT bonus pool for spot and derivative trading in each round. The remaining prize quantum for the previous period will be automatically transferred to the next prize pool. The prize will be calculated and distributed on the first trading day after the end of each round.

3.      All spot market makers are eligible to win from a 200,000 USDT prize pool based on the proportion of their actual weekly maker (spot) trading volume among all spot market makers.

4.      All derivatives market makers (including USDT-margined swaps, USDT-margined futures, coin-margined swaps and coin-margined futures) are eligible to win from a 200,000 USDT prize pool based on the proportion of their actual weekly maker (derivatives) trading volume among all derivatives market makers.

5.      In each period, the winnings of each user (or each actual controller) from the spot or derivative prize pool is capped at 10,000 USDT (each user may win up to 40,000 USDT in the one-month period). Additionally, users who concurrently carry out spot and derivative trading can each win up to 80,000 USDT within the one-month period. The remaining prize quantum of the previous period will be automatically transferred to the next prize pool for spot or derivative trading.

6.      HTX reserves the right in its sole discretion to change or cancel this announcement at any time and for any reason without prior notice.
