Beware of Scam: QR Code Used for Logins During P2P Trades

Dear HTX Users,

We would like to bring to your attention the latest scam involving QR code scanning for logins during P2P trades. Here's what you need to know to avoid asset losses:
Scammers will send a QR code, claiming it to be used for login to HTX, to you through the chat window after placing a P2P order. They will then guide you to scan the code, assuring you that it is necessary to confirm the payment. However, if you scan the code, the scammers will get access to your HTX account and ask for your fund password to transfer your funds. If you come across such manipulative behavior, please refrain from scanning the QR code and promptly report it to HTX customer support.

Please note that HTX staff will never request your account information. It is crucial for you to safeguard your account password and fund password. If you notice any suspicious behavior, please contact HTX customer support immediately.
