What is OST

Tokens

Simple Token is building the complete blockchain toolkit for business. Simple Token (traded as “OST” and built on the OpenST protocol) enables mainstream businesses to easily deploy and manage their own branded crypto-backed token economies, powered by Simple Token on scalable, high performance, open blockchains.

OST is a utility token that functions as a master token for companies to launch their own branded token economies on open scalable side blockchains.

Demand for OST will come from companies who need to acquire OST to stake against creating their branded token economies powered by OST, from developers building apps and services on OST, and from transaction fees ("gas”) for OST side-chain transactions and services.

Simple Token is backed by early investors such as: Tencent, Greycroft, 500 Startups, Vectr, Correlation Ventures, Kenetic Capital, Hashed, Kryptonite 1, Jason Goldberg, Gil Penchina, Mark Bonchek, and David Bohnett.
