I. Project Introduction

Telos started off as a grassroots network without any ICO, a pure fair launch project. Telos was started in 2018 by 120+ developers and 10+ organizations.

Telos is a very robust Smart Contract and Governance platform, capable of handling 10,000 TPS.

Recently, in Q4 2021, the Telos EVM was launched. The EVM will help bridge the Ethereum community over to the Telos Ecosystem.

The Telos EVM audit, done by Sentnl, uncovered severe security vulnerability in Ethereum. While auditing the Telos EVM Smart Contract, Guido Vranken of Sentnl discovered a security vulnerability in the original Go Ethereum (Geth) code. This was a critical find for the Defi and Blockchain space and shows the commitment of the Telos team in developing and maintaining the Blockchain Network.

Telos is the only blockchain network that supports two major blockchain protocols both EOSIO and EVM thus facilitating the support for C++ and Solidity based smart contract development.
