Origo.Network, backed by leading investors like Polychain Capital, is a privacy preserving platform that supports both private transactions and privacy preserving smart contracts for decentralized applications.

With recent launch of testnet Originis, Origo.Network now offers PAPP (privacy-preserving decentralized application) platform with three core functions combined:

(1) Confidential transaction in account-based blockchain that supports decentralized applications, whereas ZCash/Monero/Grin is based in UTXO blockchain that does not support smart contract at this moment; 

(2) Privacy preserving protocol, a complete privacy preserving solution that supports normal hardware to hide sensitive smart contract data, which can be used theoretically on any blockchain with smart contract;

(3) Switch between public and private transaction, flexible design for users to choose either public or confidential transaction feature on demand, suitable for various use cases with different privacy needs.

Origo Token functions as both a private cash similar as ZCash/Monero/Grin and an Ethereum like private gas fee for private decentralized applications.
